New research project Insta Baulog

In view of the change in traffic patterns in cities, the increasing complexity of construction projects (construction methods, construction materials, construction processes) and the growing demands for the recovery of recyclable materials in the context of the circular economy, new challenges are arising for the optimization of construction logistics.

The aim of the research project is to identify potential for reducing truck traffic for the supply and disposal of inner-city building construction sites. The focus here is on the evaluation of new types of logistics data from digital construction and construction process documentation that have not been freely available to date.
