The Kompetenzzentrum Digitales Handwerk (KDH) supports small and medium-sized craft enterprises in tapping the technical and economic potential that arises for the craft sector from the digital transformation. To reduce information deficits, the KDH provides decision-makers and experts in the skilled crafts sector with practical information, qualification and support services, which are developed and illustrated in five so-called showcases. The Digital Crafts Competence Centre is part of the funding initiative "Mittelstand 4.0 - Digitale Produktions- und Arbeitsprozesse", which is funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) as part of the funding priority "Mittelstand-Digital - Strategien zur digitalen Transformation der Unternehmensprozesse".
