iMHD – Interaktives Modulhandbuch

Funders: Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre in Trägerschaft der der Toeper Stiftung gGmbH

Project term: 09/2022 – 08/2023

The interactive module handbook offers students of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering assistance in relating courses to the construction process and thus promotes understanding of the course content. Within the framework of the project, a web-based „interaktives Modulhandbuch" (iMHD) is to be developed, initially for the courses of study in architecture and civil engineering, exemplarily for structural engineering. The existing module handbooks will be merged. With the help of the iMHD, students should be able to grasp the construction process quickly, simply and clearly right at the beginning of their studies. This gives them the opportunity to transparently assign the offered teaching content to the construction process and to gain an overview. During their studies, the iMHD is intended to enable students to "navigate" through the entire Bachelor's and Master's programme. By linking it to the already existing module handbooks, they can get an overview of courses already completed as well as those still outstanding at any time.
