The BIM Institute is research-oriented and functions as an interdisciplinary scientific institution between architects and civil engineers at the University of Wuppertal. Interdisciplinarity, innovativeness and team spirit characterise teaching and research. The BIM Institute has its own laboratories in which innovations and digital tools for research, studies and transfer are developed.
